Fortary is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Fortary Platform in Switzerland, overseeing custody, transaction authorization, key management, wallets, and blockchain integrations. You will shape architecture and product delivery in a security-conscious, regulated fintech environment.

This leadership role combines distributed systems, applied cryptography, and AI-assisted development to build institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of software engineering with 5+ years leading teams
• Experience owning large-scale security-critical platforms
• Deep expertise in modern cryptography and secure key-management (MPC, threshold signatures, TEEs, HSMs)
• Cloud-native design experience including Kubernetes and IaC
• Security/compliance knowledge for regulated financial services (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, AML/KYC)
• Digital asset infrastructure experience (custody, trading, treasury)
• Proven ability to lead complex technical organizations with high security bar
• Excellent communication with executives, auditors, regulators, and customers

Aufgaben

• Lead multiple engineering teams delivering custody, authorization, key management, wallets, and blockchain integrations
• Own architecture, strategy, and roadmap for the distributed MPC custody platform
• Partner with Product, Security, Business Development, and executives to align investments with requirements
• Support multiple deployment models (managed platform and licensed software)
• Establish engineering practices meeting security, compliance, resilience, and governance needs
• Lead incident response and continuous improvement for production systems
• Hire and develop engineering managers and senior engineers
• Drive AI-assisted engineering practices to improve productivity and quality
• Balance scalability, resilience, security, and maintainability in technical decisions
