Zusammenfassung

Swissquote is seeking a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our production eFX/Crypto platforms. The role focuses on Kubernetes, production operations, automation, observability, and infrastructure reliability across on-premise and private cloud environments.

You will work with Infrastructure and Development engineers to operate and improve our production systems, implement CI/CD pipelines, and enhance monitoring using Prometheus,

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or similar production role.
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments.
• Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Docker and container technologies experience.
• On-premise and/or private cloud infrastructure experience.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible.
• CI/CD pipelines experience and deployment automation.
• Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic/Kibana.
• Programming in Python and Shell scripting.
• Networking fundamentals and SLIs/SLOs concepts.
• Java web apps and servers like Spring Boot and Tomcat.

Aufgaben

• Monitor production systems, respond to incidents, and ensure uptime.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and apps in production on-premise.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Automate IT and operational processes to reduce manual work.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Monitor observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic/Kibana.
• Root-cause analysis of faults and corrective actions.
• Stress, resilience, DR, and BCP testing for platform stability.
• Collaborate with Infra and Dev teams to improve production readiness.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide production support.
• continuously improve processes, automation, monitoring, and reliability practices.
