Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking “Sr Manager - Margin Expansion Deliver” join our TEAM. The role is based in “Switzerland or Belgium”.

JOB SUMMARY
  • This Sr. Project Manager position, part of the MTSC Deliver Margin Expansion organization, will be leading the shaping and execution of Air to Ocean, Shipping Frequency & Consolidation and Direct Ship workstream across EMEA and APAC regions, bringing identified opportunities from ideation into execution or all BUs across MedTech.
  • The role is responsible for managing the project team direct and indirect resources (Operations, Transportation, Quality, Finance, Planning, Procurement and Analytics), making sure that we deliver outcomes, stay in budget and on time, as well as doing required stakeholder management associated to the initiative.
  • Part of the role is also to prepare reviews and to present to senior leaders.
  • Work close with the leaders of projects with interdependencies, like other Margin Expansion initiatives (Air to Ocean, Direct Ship, Shipping Frequency Consolidation) or balance of the portfolio efforts (Transcend, etc.).
  • Directly manage the process to build comprehensive business cases on a lane basis level, incorporating investments required for implementation (systems, capabilities, etc) and expected business benefits on inventory, distribution and transportation costs, responsiveness.
  • Furthermore, the Sr Project Manager shall be part of the Margin Expansion Leadership team, working on interdependent projects, anticipating negative externalities to the site and the business.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Under and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Leads, organizes, coordinates and directs efforts of interdisciplinary team responsible for the Deliver Margin Expansion initiatives
  • Manage supporting analysts for workstream to support deliverables
  • Facilitates cross-functional teams to achieve the project goals. Interfaces with all necessary organizations that result in successful implementation of projects and programs.
  • Optimization focus area to include: 1) shipment service level 2) shipment frequency 3) consolidation 4) picking/packing as a result of consolidation 5) ship-to clean‑up 6) system enhancement recommendations
  • Organizes, manages and controls projects, responsible for developing integrated project plans, timelines and resource requirements relating to supply chain and logistics. Coordinate project team and project resource & budget to ensure execution of the project plan. Owns the processes, tools, and metrics related to the project management process and adherence to these processes.
  • Develop & align Final Project Objectives with project team & sponsor, manage the production of the required deliverables & integrated project plans. Optimize strategy by implementing change management approaches to drive deployment & adoption.
  • Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans, initiating corrective action, flag any risk to sponsor & steering committee in timely manner. Identifying and obtaining any support and advice required for the management, planning and control of the project.
  • Ability to conceptualize & shape supply chain E2E capability & service. Capability to format and create business cases, including requirements, definition and execution.
  • Connect, influence and communicate with all J&J workstreams to get a holistic view of interdependencies (e.g. process, resource, system implication between Supply Chain and other functions to ensure smooth execution of the project). Provide reliable and predictable project communication to Leadership Team and stakeholders.
  • Extensive stakeholder management across all global BU as well as MTSC LT members.
  • Establish change management process
  • Conducting end project evaluation (lessons learned) to find best practices for the future and preparing end‑project report as well as official handover to base business.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required Qualifications, knowledge, abilities & experiences
  • Business engineering / SC / Logistics / Finance / Computer Science, etc. Bachelor or similar is required. Master’s degree / MBA or similar is a plus
    • 8 years of experience e.g. supply chain / customer service / planning / transport / distribution, IT, engineering
  • Experience in large international corporation, MedTech and/or Pharmaceutical businesses is a plus
  • Project management skills (FPX Project Leader certified) or other Project Management certification
  • Demonstrated successful implementation of complex projects with multiple cross functional stakeholders projects .
  • Experience in setting up and running logistics product flow changes and associated implications in other SC pillars (i.e. Planning)
  • Experience in inventory planning and management capabilities.
  • Continues Process Improvement, Process mapping, Six Sigma & Lean certification will be a plus
  • Professional certification in Supply Chain e.g. APICSwill be a plus
  • Agile (Scrum) methodology / Waterfall (System Development Life Cycle - User Story & feature / Business simulation / User Acceptance Test) will be a plus
  • Experience in New Product launches (NPI) and/or Acquisition & Divestiture processes will be a plus
  • Experience in Order To Cash processes on ERP System will be a plus
  • Experience with warehouse processes / Transportation / Import & Export / Planning
  • Fluent in English
