Sonova AG seeks a Sound Quality Engineer to develop and optimize hearing device features, translating advanced technologies into measurable benefits for users. You will parameterize functions with MATLAB, Simulink or Python, apply AI methods, and verify performance in lab environments.

Joining R&D and collaborating with marketing, you will build, test and validate sound quality and feature performance, while contributing to a hybrid work model in Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in a scientific/engineering discipline (EE, physics, acoustics, or biomedical engineering).
• Strong knowledge in sound engineering, signal processing, acoustics or audiology.
• 3+ years in engineering/R&D related to acoustics or signal processing.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, XML and audio editing tools.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain hearing device features to improve user listening experiences.
• Parameterize functions using MATLAB, Simulink or Python and optimize performance.
• Apply AI methods to audiological features and assess DNN-based solutions.
• Build firmware and measure performance in acoustic labs and setups.
• Define evaluation metrics and tests for sound quality and feature performance.
• Collaborate with R&D teams across signal processing, AI and software engineering.
• Support marketing with technical setups for demos and claims metrics.
