Zusammenfassung

Sonova Group in Switzerland is seeking an Audiological Engineer to translate product needs into algorithmic specifications for audiological functionalities within the executable model EXAM. You will develop algorithms, run evaluations, and support product launches.

You'll work in a cross-disciplinary R&D team, require a university degree in a scientific field, strong Python/MATLAB skills, and fluency in English; German is a plus.

  • Experience with modelling complex relationships and statistics.
  • Strong Python, MATLAB and OO software experience.
  • Interest in AI-assisted software development.
  • Fluent English; German desirable.

Audiological Engineer

In this versatile position within our Research and Development department, you will translate the product needs into algorithmic specifications for various audiological functionalities within Sonova’s executable audiological model, “EXAM.” These functionalities enable hearing aids to be optimally fitted to customers’ individual needs.

More about you

  • University degree in a scientific or technical discipline, such as Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar, PhD is an advantage
  • Experience in modelling complex relationships and applying statistical methods, as well as knowledge of Python, MATLAB and object-oriented software development
  • Experience with and interest in AI-assisted software development
  • Knowledge of psychoacoustics, electroacoustics or signal processing is an advantage
  • Proactive, goal- and solution-oriented personality with strong systems-thinking skills
  • Enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary team
  • Fluent English skills are mandatory; German language skills are highly desirable
