You will own early-stage material innovation, connect synthesis with performance data, and identify concepts for scale-up, while coordinating with cross-functional teams across characterization, engineering, scale-up, legal and external innovation.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on synthetic chemist with experience in material synthesis or functional material development.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders across disciplines.
• Wants to stay close to lab-based experimentation, synthesis, characterization and scientific problem-solving.
• Motivated by early-stage R&D and discovery-driven environments.

Aufgaben

• Design and synthesize new sorbent materials focusing on performance, durability, cost and scalability.
• Evaluate material performance by planning experiments, analyzing data and linking synthesis to structure-property relationships.
• Identify promising sorbent concepts against technical, commercial, regulatory, scalability and IP criteria.
• Drive hands-on laboratory work with well-documented synthesis and testing campaigns and maintain structured material data.
• Collaborate across disciplines with characterization, engineering, scale-up, legal, patents and external innovation to move top concepts forward.
