Isolutions AG specializes in Microsoft-based modern workplace and infrastructure solutions. The Solution Architect will design architectures, operating models, governance concepts, and cloud roadmaps for new customer projects.

You will lead presales activities and prepare cost estimates while presenting designs to executives. Based in Switzerland with a willingness to travel, you will drive innovative Microsoft solutions, contribute to standardized service offerings, and collaborate with teams

Qualifikationen

Solution Architect – Workplace & Infrastructure

Are you an experienced Solution Architect specializing in Workplace & Infrastructure, with a passion for developing solution concepts, cost estimates, and architecture designs for new customer projects?

This is what you get up for in the morning:

• You advise our customers on modern workplace, infrastructure, and operations solutions based on Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure, including Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• You analyze existing environments and develop target architectures, operating models, governance concepts, cloud strategies, and roadmaps for modern cloud and hybrid solutions.
• You support RFP and proposal processes with a focus on presales activities. You contribute to qualification, take responsibility for solution design, and prepare cost estimates and proposal documents.
• You present solution designs to management and C-level stakeholders.
• You identify new technological opportunities at an early stage and actively bring innovations from the Microsoft ecosystem into customer projects and service offerings.
• You contribute to the further development of our standardized service offerings, with a focus on service standards, best practices, maintainability and scalability, operating models, and SLAs.

We would like you to:

• A completed university or university of applied sciences degree (FH or university) in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect at a Managed IT Services provider, with strong consulting expertise and corresponding experience in presales, proposal processes, and RFPs/tenders.
• Proven experience in designing and operating Microsoft-based workplace and infrastructure solutions, combined with a passion for modern technologies and innovation.
• Excellent understanding of IT service management and Managed Services, outsourcing, and operating models.
• Strong communication, analytical, and conceptual skills, with the ability to explain and present complex topics clearly to customers, management, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
• A high degree of initiative, a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, and a strong commitment to creating sustainable value for customers.
• Excellent German and very good English skills.
• Based in Bern, Zurich, or Basel, with a willingness to travel within Switzerland.
