Qim info is seeking an experienced Senior Test Architect to join our Swiss-based delivery teams in Geneva. You will shape verification strategies for complex, safety-critical systems and lead integration, system, and end-to-end testing efforts.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in system integration and testing in complex environments.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Squish or JMeter.
• Programming in Python and/or Java.
• Ability to define test strategies and verification plans for large projects.
• Understanding of APIs, networking and distributed architectures.
• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Experience with safety-critical or highly regulated systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 15288, ED-153, ED-109, DO-178C or equivalent standards.
• ISTQB Test Manager certification.

In a nutshell

As part of a team responsible for the verification and validation of complex critical systems, you will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and quality. You will contribute to integration, system, and end-to-end testing activities while helping to strengthen testing methodologies, automation practices, and quality standards within a highly regulated environment.

• Design, execute, and maintain integration, system, and end-to-end tests covering interactions between software components, hardware platforms, and external interfaces.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for both functional and non-functional scenarios, including performance, resilience, failover, and reliability testing.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate closely with development and operations teams to resolve issues and improve overall system quality.
• Define and drive test strategies, verification plans, and risk-based testing approaches.
• Ensure test coverage, requirements traceability, and effective risk mitigation throughout project delivery.
• Coordinate and report testing activities across multiple stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, quality standards, and automation practices.

Profile sought:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in system integration and testing within complex, distributed environments.
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks such as Squish, JMeter, or equivalent tools.
• Solid programming and scripting skills in Python and/or Java.
• Proven experience defining test strategies, verification plans, and testing approaches for large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of system integration concepts, APIs, networking, and distributed architectures.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and reporting testing activities involving multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Experience working with safety-critical or highly regulated systems.
• Knowledge of standards such as ISO 15288, ED-153, ED-109, DO-178C, or equivalent industry standards.
• ISTQB Test Manager or similar testing certification.
• Experience in environments with strong quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
