Job summary

Capgemini Invent in Switzerland is seeking an experienced Intelligent Industry consultant to guide MES strategy and manufacturing IT transformations for life sciences and industrial clients.

You will lead projects, review deliverables, and shape architectures spanning MES, DCS, SCADA, ERP, and LIMS while ensuring GMP compliance and client satisfaction. Fluency in German is required; English skills needed for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years in management consulting, digital manufacturing, or industrial tech with client-facing roles.
• Hands-on MES implementations including MBR/EBR authoring, validation support, and go-live activities.
• Broad MES/DCS/SCADA/ERP/LIMS IT landscape understanding and integration advice.
• Experience leading teams and reviewing deliverables with coaching leadership.
• Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GAMP 5, CSV.
• Strong consulting acumen and ability to translate business issues into solutions.
• Excellent English and fluent German.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and drive to grow the practice area.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and manage a team of MES Recipe Authors; ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Review MBRs, EBRs, and workflow configurations; final content authority before go-live.
• Advise on MES/DCS/ERP/LIMS architecture and integration strategies.
• Define MES roadmaps, platform selection, and implementation plans.
• Develop authoring standards and reusable assets for engagements.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and lead workshops and steering sessions.
• Support business development and proposal writing for Intelligent Industry.
