Job summary

Swissquote Bank SA in Switzerland seeks a Site Reliability Engineer for Cloud Operations to strengthen production reliability and scalability. You will migrate and modernize applications on Kubernetes, improve observability, and drive reliable deployments in a fast-paced financial tech environment.

You will collaborate with software and IT engineers, define SLOs/SLIs, implement GitOps and service mesh patterns, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in SRE, DevOps or similar production-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Migrate and modernize production applications on Kubernetes.
• Integrate third-party software into production platforms.
• Work alongside Software and IT Engineers to improve reliability, performance and operational readiness.
• Design and operate applications on our service mesh platform.
• Define SLOs, SLIs and useful operational KPIs, then use them to drive improvements.
• Improve observability across metrics, logs and traces so problems are easier to spot and understand.
• Automate repetitive operational work whenever it makes sense.
• Provide Level-3 support and participate in the on-call rotation.
