GetYourGuide ищет инженера инфраструктуры для построения и масштабирования облачной инфраструктуры с Kubernetes и AWS. Ваша задача — обеспечить высокую доступность, автомасштабирование и восстановление в продакшн и предпродакшн средах.

GetYourGuide connects people with unique activities and travel experiences around the world.

Задачи:

• Build and scale cloud-based infrastructure, including managing Kubernetes clusters and the AWS environment
• Ensure high availability, autoscaling, and failure recovery for production and pre-production systems
• Develop custom controllers to automate cluster management
• Use Istio and Envoy to manage service communication and provide network observability
• Drive initiatives to improve system design and implement new technologies
• Participate in infrastructure on-call rotations
• Champion the operations culture and help the engineering organization deliver highly available services to customers

Требования:

• Experience with Kubernetes and running containers at scale
• Low-level understanding of the Linux operating system
• Strong coding skills in at least one programming language; Go is the most commonly used language
• Understanding of production systems, networking, and container technology
• Familiarity with public cloud environments such as AWS
• Proactive, collaborative team player who cares about helping the team deliver
• Written and verbal communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts in English
• Care about monitoring and understanding system states
• Ability to diagnose and pinpoint issues in production environments
