Zusammenfassung

HUBER+SUHNER Polatis in Switzerland is seeking a Shop Floor Controller to secure material flows and support production planning in a fast-paced environment.

You will release orders in SAP, manage inventory, and report schedule changes while collaborating with production teams. Fluency in English and Polish, strong Excel skills, and hands-on SAP experience are essential.

• Release production orders according to capacity and SAP data.

• Report SAP system errors to Key Users.
• Prepare documentation (drawings, XL WO).

Planning and control of materials according to production processes, ensuring continuity of production with minimum downtime due to lack of materials, ensuring that products are manufactured in accordance with certain quality standards and comply with other safety regulations. Production orders released on time for manufacturing teams to execute. Help with the process of the ‘right parts’ in the ‘right place’ at the ‘right time’

Key tasks:

• Release of production orders according to available capacity on production (release in SAP, date control, printing of paper version)
• Managing the flow of production materials for a specific section
• Daily reporting differences in schedule changes to planning team
• Training on the MRP system for employees of section
• Control of material flow between the warehouse and production
• Ensuring efficient material flow between locations / plants
• Control and reporting of material shortages, replacements, scrap
• In cooperation with production Supervisors proposing actions to improve efficiency
• Participation in the inventory, responsibility for the stock of materials in the production area
• Reporting to Key Users any errors related to the SAP system
• Preparation of documentation (drawings, XL WO)

Your profile

• SAP (or similar) knowledge
• Knowledge of the process of building the final product (Switch and Knowledge of the Slice Subassembly + Slice production process is welcome)
• Experience in the material inventory process is welcome
• Microsoft Office, in particular Excel for exporting data from SAP for presentation/summarization
• Organize production to support production plan
• Commitment, communication skills, ability to work in a team, willingness to develop, learn, share knowledge/information with other employees working with the SAP system
• Systematic and regular closing of the finished product in the system
• Analytical skills, perceptiveness and the ability to think rationally
• Ability to plan your own work and that of your colleagues
• Flexibility for support in SAP on different department during absence person works as Shop Floor controller
• Knowledge of English and Polish (communicative)
