ONWARD Medical is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager Upstream Marketing on a 6-month contract to shape the evolution of our product portfolio. You will translate insights from SCI patients and healthcare professionals into clear product strategies and roadmaps, coordinating with R&D, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of Product Management and/or Upstream Marketing experience within medical devices, medtech, digital health, or a related healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated ability to translate Voice of Customer, KOL, and market insights into product strategy, user requirements, and target product profiles.
• Experience engaging directly with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, patients, and clinical/sales teams.
• Experience working closely with R&D and multidisciplinary product development teams.
• Proven ability to operate in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Aufgaben

• Own the voice of the customer and market by engaging regularly with KOLs, healthcare professionals, patients, clinical and sales teams to identify customer needs, unmet needs, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
• Translate customer, clinical, market, and competitive insights into clear product strategy and user requirements, to inform product development and clinical research strategies.
• Capture and synthesize early commercial learnings and translate them into lifecycle priorities, product enhancements, and future product requirements.
• Develop and refine product strategies and value propositions, including positioning, differentiation, target product profiles, and strategic direction for new products, indications, and capabilities.
• Support business case development, forecasting inputs, product prioritization, and portfolio recommendations for future opportunities.
• Define and communicate a multi-year product roadmap with foresight, ensuring strategic alignment across R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial stakeholders.
• Drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders on product priorities and key development decisions.
• Communicate market insights, product recommendations, and strategic rationale effectively to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Ensure strong alignment between upstream product strategy and downstream Marketing, Medical Education, Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
• Quickly take ownership of priority initiatives and drive tangible deliverables within the six-month assignment.
