Roche Basel Biotech Manufacturing seeks an MSAT Process Performance Team Member focusing on upstream processing. You will build and sustain technical capabilities, coach SMEs, and drive cross-site technology initiatives.

Applicants should hold a Master or PhD in biotechnology or related fields, 8+ years in bioprocess manufacturing within a cGMP setting, and fluent German and English. On-call availability may apply; Basel site offers a globally connected Roche network.

Qualifikationen

• Master or PhD in a scientific/technical field; biotechnology/biochemistry or bio/chemical process engineering preferred.
• 8+ years of industry manufacturing experience; 6+ years in bioprocess manufacturing.
• Experience in a cGMP environment and knowledge of safety principles and quality systems.
• Fluent German and English with strong intercultural communication skills.
• Knowledge of process validation, transfers, and single-use technologies is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Build, sustain and improve technical capabilities for Process Engineering and mentor SMEs.
• Collaborate with Roche experts to support strategic initiatives and lead tech projects.
• Apply Lean Leadership to foster teamwork, communication, urgency and continuous improvement.
• Assist in end-to-end production process analysis, safe and robust supply, and cost reduction.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with pilot labs, production and quality; drive standardization and RCA teams.
