Lonza in Visp, Switzerland, seeks a MSAT Bioconjugates Process Expert (f/m/d) to join the on-site Bioconjugation Manufacturing team. You will deliver process know-how, drive technology transfer, and support optimization to ensure high-quality, compliant manufacturing of life-changing therapies.

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in related fields with bioconjugation experience and strong data-driven problem solving. Fluency in English is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or PhD in bioconjugation/related scientific field (preferred).
• Significant industry experience in bioconjugation and biopharma manufacturing.
• Hands-on downstream processing with chromatography and filtration technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
• In-depth understanding of bioprocess technologies and cGMP manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English; German knowledge is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Deliver process know-how, scientific expertise and operational excellence for biopharma API manufacturing.
• Ensure successful process technology transfer and manufacturability with cross-functional teams.
• Own and support change control activities to maintain compliant manufacturing processes.
• Provide manufacturing support during production campaigns and lead process troubleshooting on the shop floor.
• Drive process optimization through data analysis and preparation of CPV and APQR documentation.
• Identify and implement workflow, process and asset improvements through continuous improvement projects.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, supporting operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
