Qualifikationen

• Fluent in English and German; other languages an advantage.
• Seasoned professional in Construction and Engineering or Energy treaty underwriting.
• Robust level of technical underwriting experience.
• Excellent analytic and risk assessment skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
• Creative problem-solving and ability to make decisions using judgment.

Aufgaben

• Support underwriting of construction and engineering treaties through independent analysis and risk assessment.
• Develop quotations, pricing, and underwriting documents; process slips and wordings promptly.
• Grow a profitable in-force book by identifying opportunities and managing renewals.
• Collaborate with colleagues, actuarial functions, clients, and market leaders to ensure cohesive processes.
• Conduct risk analysis considering exposures, lines of business, and geographic factors; ensure adherence to limits.
• Contribute to development of exposure management tools and risk monitoring improvements.
• Utilize actuarial tools and work with regional/global teams to price risks.
• Produce comprehensive data reports to support strategic decisions.
• Analyze internal reports and financial data to assess risk profiles.
• Structure deals and define policy conditions; manage capacity per underwriting guidelines.
• Mentor junior team members and share expertise to foster growth.
