VIU Partners Sàrl seeks a Senior Trade Accountant in Geneva to manage IFRS-based accounting and robust financial reporting within a trading and shipping context. You will ensure accurate records, P&L integrity by voyage, and support audit processes while maintaining strong internal controls.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or ACCA with 6–8 years in commodity trading. Fluency in English required; French a plus; 100% on-site role with immediate start.

Qualifikationen

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent (e.g., ACCA).
• 6–8 years in a Commodity Trading environment; oil/trading & shipping background is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; French a plus; IFRS knowledge required.

Aufgaben

• Trade and financial accounting, including P&L analysis by voyage and cost components.
• Reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and intercompany balances; align Trading P&L with Accounting P&L.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts; support year-end audit; ensure internal controls.
