Zusammenfassung

Oerlikon Group in Switzerland seeks an experienced coating technologist to lead multiple international thermal spray projects and act as the main technical interface for clients and colleagues. You will interpret drawings and specs, analyze data, and prepare quality documentation.

The role requires a university-level technical degree, at least five years of relevant experience, and strong English communication in an international environment. Relocation to Hausen (AG) is anticipated.

Qualifikationen

• University-level technical degree and at least five years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of surface technologies with emphasis on coatings.
• Proven experience managing multiple international technical projects and interpreting drawings, specs and documentation.

Aufgaben

• Act as the primary technical interface for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple thermal spray coating projects with clear priorities, timelines and deliverables.
• Prepare and approve technical documentation including quotations, work plans, project docs, coating specs, reports and QA docs.
• Analyze laboratory results and process data and compile reliable final reports.
• Provide technical consulting support to customers.
• Plan and coordinate coating trials and campaigns.
• Collaborate with Coating Solution Centers to share knowledge and best practices.
