Zusammenfassung

Oerlikon is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for the Coating Solution Center Europe based in Wohlen, Switzerland. You will act as the primary technical interface and manage multiple international thermal spray coating projects, ensuring priorities and timelines are met.

You will prepare and approve technical documentation, analyze lab results, provide technical consulting, and coordinate coating trials. The role requires a university-level technical degree, at least five years of experience in

Qualifikationen

• University-level technical degree and at least five years of relevant experience in surface technologies.
• Experience managing multiple international technical projects; able to interpret drawings and specifications; thermal spraying required.

Aufgaben

• Act as the primary technical interface for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple thermal spray coating projects, ensuring priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Prepare and approve technical documentation including quotations, work plans, project documentation, coating specifications, technical reports, and QA documentation.
• Analyze laboratory results and process data, and compile clear, reliable final reports.
• Provide technical consulting support to internal and external customers.
• Plan and coordinate coating trials and campaigns.
• Collaborate with other Coating Solution Centers to share knowledge, project experience, and best practices.
