About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer to play a key role in ensuring and continuously improving software quality within an agile development environment.

This position focuses primarily on hands-on manual software testing (70-80%), including end-to-end testing, exploratory testing, defect analysis, and quality assurance activities. Test automation experience is welcome but is not the primary focus of the role.

Responsibilities

Manual Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform hands‑on manual testing of software applications
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and end‑to‑end tests
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify defects, risks, and usability issues
• Analyse business and technical requirements and derive test cases and test scenarios
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test documentation
• Identify, analyse, document, and track software defects
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases
• Ensure high‑quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders
• Define and maintain appropriate test coverage
• Contribute to quality metrics and quality assurance processes
• Support the optimisation of testing methodologies and tools
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and quality initiatives

Test Automation (Secondary Focus)

• Support existing test automation activities
• Create and maintain automated test cases where appropriate
