Qualifikationen

As a Senior Technician in Micronutrients and Phytochemicals Analytics at Nestlé Research, your mission is to provide high-quality analytical support that helps research and operations teams make confident, science-based decisions. How you’ll make an impact as a Senior Technician in Micronutrients and Phytochemicals Analytics

• Delivering reliable analytical data that supports research, product quality and operational decisions.

• Developing and applying sample preparation methods within projects, including approaches for allergens, microparticles, micronutrients and phytochemicals analysis as well as spectroscopic measurements.

• Operating and maintaining advanced analytical equipment to ensure robust, timely and high-quality results.

• Evaluating analytical outcomes critically and turning results into clear insights for project teams and stakeholders.

• Contributing to method development and providing technical assistance to markets, including analytical support for allergen-related topics where the role may require handling or being in direct contact with allergenic food materials.

• Supporting project teams with technical assistance, sample preparation for trace analysis and analytical interpretation to ensure robust delivery of project objectives.

• Sharing expertise with colleagues, apprentices and students to build capability across analytical activities.

What will make you successful

• Bringing a Bachelor’s degree, CFC or equivalent qualification in analytical chemistry or a related field, with solid experience in sample preparation gained in industry or academia.

• Applying hands-on knowledge of allergen analysis and being comfortable working in a laboratory environment where allergenic food materials may be handled, prepared or analyzed, with potential direct contact as part of the role. You will also bring knowledge of spectroscopic measurements such as infrared, Raman or X-ray fluorescence, ideally including microparticle analysis. Knowledge in trace analysis and liquid chromatography is a plus.

• Using good laboratory practices, quality and safety standards to deliver accurate, compliant and trusted results.

• Collaborating with curiosity, analytical rigor and a solution-oriented mindset in diverse technical teams.

• Communicating confidently in English and French.
