Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of transfusion medicine and biological products planning.
• Experience in policy development, standards, and technical guidance.
• Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary public health programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical support contributing to planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of WHO normative and technical activities.
• Contribute to development and review of policies, standards and guidance for blood systems and transfusion services.
• Coordinate programme activities including work planning, resource management and performance monitoring.
• Conduct research and generate evidence to inform policy and programme implementation.
• Advise on regulatory, quality assurance and standardization approaches for blood products.
