Job summary

Richemont seeks a highly motivated Solution Architect to define and support architecture for Omni Retail solutions across global markets. Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution architecture for large-scale digital transformation and retail systems.
• Hands-on omni retail solution design and delivery.
• Design scalable, performant, and resilient solutions for high volumes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and integration patterns.
• Experience with APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and SDLC.
• TOGAF or equivalent certification is a plus.

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Solution Architect, with strong expertise in Omni Retail digital solutions, to join our dynamic Client & Market team. In this role, you will play a key role in defining and supporting the architecture of innovative and scalable Omni Retail solutions across Richemont's Maisons and global markets. You will work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and technical teams to define target architectures, lead solution design, and ensure seamless integration across Richemont platforms. You will also contribute to the delivery of major retail transformation initiatives, focusing on architectural consistency, performance and system resilience. This is a strategic and transversal role requiring a deep understanding of Omni Retail business processes and technology, with the ability to operate in a global, multi-time-zone, fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams for retail solution architecture.
• Lead the architectural design of digital omni retail solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership and decision-making in global transformation programs and large scale deployments.
• Ensure alignment of solution designs with enterprise architecture standards and industry best practices.
• Define and enforce architectural governance, guiding principles, and reusable patterns within the product area.
• Support the evaluation of build vs. buy decisions and contribute to vendor/product assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural consistency and data integrity across systems.
• Provide hands‑on support in solution modelling, documentation and review of technical specifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and monitor technical roadmaps aligned with business capabilities and digital transformation goals.
• Lead the creation and documentation of high‑level solution designs, including system integration flows.
• Participate in cut‑over planning, system migration strategies and infrastructure setup when relevant.
• Coordinate with support teams to ensure architectural traceability into operational procedures and tools.
• Support continuous improvement of support, DevOps and delivery practices within the Retail domain.
• Review and validate proposed solutions from delivery teams to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Identify interdependencies and ensure solutions fit into the overall retail landscape by working closely with other architects and integration teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a proven track record in large‑scale digital transformation and retail systems.
• Hands‑on experience in omni retail solution design and delivery.
• Proven ability to design highly scalable, performant, and resilient solutions capable of handling high transaction volumes and peak retail periods.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based platforms and tools.
• Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns, event‑driven architecture, APIs and microservices.
• Experience with tools and technologies such as Git, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Jira and Confluence.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (Gitflow and TBD) and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in system modelling techniques and architectural documentation.
• TOGAF or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Experience in security, identity management (SSO) and compliance considerations for global rollouts.
• Strong understanding of omni retail business processes.

Education & Language
