Embotech, an award-winning software scale-up, seeks a Senior System Engineer in Munich or Zurich to own the AVM system architecture, requirements, validation, and safety analysis. You will prototype features and integrate across infrastructure, backend, and vehicle domains, working closely with software and application engineers.

The role involves testing in simulation and on real vehicles, with occasional travel to customer sites in Germany, the UK, and the USA.

Qualifikationen

• MSc in a relevant engineering or robotics field.
• Experience in system engineering for autonomous vehicle applications.
• Hands-on with Linux, Python, and C++ is required.

Aufgaben

• System and software architectural design in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Definition of system requirements, interfaces, and test specs across infrastructure, backend and vehicle.
• Software prototyping and development of new features for the AVM system.
• Safety analysis (ISO 13849).
• System and software integration including testing in simulation and on real vehicles (customer sites).
• Log data analysis and problem solving for a production system.
