Adfinis in Switzerland is seeking an experienced Cloud Native professional to act as technical lead on complex cloud projects. You will steer architectural decisions, communicate clearly with demanding stakeholders, and ensure delivery excellence across multi-cloud and on‑premises platforms.

Key focus areas include DevOps mastery (CNCF, HashiCorp, Kubernetes/OpenShift), security‑driven operations, automation, and mentoring colleagues in high‑pressure client environments.

Qualifikationen

• German language proficiency in speech and writing.
• 5–8 years of experience as a system engineer in cloud environments.
• Strong DevOps background with CNCF and HashiCorp stacks, GitLab, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, DevSecOps, IaC, and GitOps.
• Broad experience in software development, cloud migration and platform engineering.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to translate advanced concepts into smart network designs.
• Identify security vulnerabilities early and address them effectively.
• Experience improving automations and building new ones to enhance operations.
• Understand how to align technology, architecture and business requirements in complex customer environments.

Our Swiss‑based Cloud Native stream, consisting of 25 professionals, collaborates closely with clients to support them in their organizational and technical journey into the cloud‑native world. We design, build, and manage critical cloud‑based IT infrastructures, relying on our proven, standardized tool stack for container platforms, security measures, and CI/CD solutions.

Tasks

What You Will Do With Us

• Act as the technical lead on complex projects, ensuring quality standards are met.

Requirements

Must‑Have Hard Skills

• Proficiency in both written and spoken German (communicating with hand signals and gestures won’t cut it for this role, unfortunately).
• Five to eight years of experience as a system engineer in cloud environments.
• A strong DevOps background: CNCF and HashiCorp stacks, GitLab, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, DevSecOps, IaC, and GitOps are your bread and butter.
• Broad experience in software development, cloud migration, and platform engineering.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to translate advanced concepts into smart network designs.
• Ability to identify security vulnerabilities early and address them effectively.
• Expertise in improving automations and building new ones to enhance operations.
• A sound understanding of how to align technology, architecture, and business requirements in complex customer environments.
