Nobel Biocare seeks a Senior Surface Technology Engineer to scout and lead development of implant materials and surface technologies. You will own core surface processes, maintain them, and drive improvements within our regulated medical device environment.

In this role you will collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and manufacturing to translate biology and materials science into scalable design and process solutions, while mentoring peers and ensuring Design Control compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in a materials-related field.
• 7+ years in materials science, surface engineering and process development.
• 3+ years in medical device industry; dental or orthopedic exposure preferred.

Aufgaben

• Act as the technical expert for core surface technologies and manufacturing processes.
• Lead the development of new materials, surfaces, and product innovations per Design Control and Idea-to-Market processes.
• Scout, evaluate, and develop emerging material and surface technology opportunities.
• Drive process improvements through scientific analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support transfer of new technologies into manufacturing and ensure regulatory compliance.
