Jobtailor in Switzerland seeks an experienced trading-systems engineer to design and implement new components in Python and Go, while maintaining the production trading infrastructure. You will engage across traders, operations, risk and compliance to shape requirements and drive architectural changes from concept to production.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in trading system development and operation in traditional finance (FX, equities or rates)
• Hands-on senior level experience in Python and/or Go; strong motivation to become proficient in both
• Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle: order management, execution, post-trade processing and reporting
• Background in a regulated institutional environment
• Algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design
• Unix based systems, containerized environments and Kubernetes
• Working experience with databases: relational, NoSQL and time series
• REST API, Websocket and message brokers (e.g. Kafka, NATS, Pub/Sub)
• Proficient written and verbal communication in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven self-starter who takes initiative on ambiguous problems and coordinates effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Consistently high standards for code quality and system reliability, with curiosity and commitment to ongoing learning
