Job summary
Corintis is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to critical software used to simulate and design microfluidic cooling solutions for AI chips and data centres. You will report to the Head of Software Engineering and work with software engineers, simulation engineers, product managers and users daily.
The role focuses on speed, reliability and maintainability as the software grows in size and complexity.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Extensive experience with Python and its ecosystem.
- Proven ability to design and build large, complex software systems.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices.
- Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle.
- Fluent English and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and build large-scale software systems from architecture to release.
- Write clean, efficient, tested and well-documented Python code.
- Convert user needs into clear technical designs and deliver as new features.
- Define design patterns, code reviews and tests best practices.
- Review code and mentor junior developers to help them grow.
- Find and remove performance bottlenecks and root causes of defects.
- Identify technical debt and reduce it with the team.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
