Zusammenfassung

Corintis is seeking a Computational Optimization Engineer at our EPFL-area campus to build optimization technology for microfluidic cooling products. You will translate mathematical formulations into tested modules used daily by the engineering team.

The role requires a PhD and deep expertise in topology optimization, homogenization, and high-performance computing. You will collaborate closely with software, product, and manufacturing teams on site in Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

  • PhD in Mechanical/related field required or equivalent.
  • Expertise in topology optimization and homogenization.
  • Strong background in FEM and numerical PDEs.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for scientific software.
  • Experience with HPC and MPI is a plus.

Aufgaben

  • Develop numerical methods for topology optimization and multiscale material design.
  • Formulate and solve optimization problems with homogenization and effective properties.
  • Design and maintain simulation/optimization software in Python and/or C++.
  • Create workflows combining finite element analysis and adjoint methods.
  • Validate models and present results to technical teams.
