Zusammenfassung

Cloudbeds is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the POS stack across mobile and backend services. You will work on React Native/Expo apps, Python/FastAPI services, and the AWS/Kubernetes infrastructure to deliver reliable hospitality POS experiences.

You will design offline-first features, ensure secure and scalable integrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship production-ready software for properties across Europe and beyond.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with mobile/frontend development
• Solid understanding of relational data modeling and PostgreSQL
• Experience owning cloud-native delivery and operations (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, AWS)

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and operate customer-facing POS experiences across React Native/Expo, Python services
• Develop offline-first capabilities with SQLite and data synchronization
• Build backend services that support authentication, staff workflows, menus, orders, payments, and receipts
• Design reliable APIs and data models, with cache and sync across the Cloudbeds platform
• Own observability, testing, release quality, security, and production support
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and mentoring across teams
