Job summary

Xebia in Zurich is looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our client-focused teams. You will analyse requirements, estimate development effort, and build, maintain and enhance applications and interfaces in an Agile environment, with up to 40% on-site in Zürich.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software development experience, strong Java and Microsoft ecosystem expertise, and fluent German (C1 or higher) with understanding of Swiss German.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience developing software using open-source technologies, such as Java.
• Experience developing software within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Experience working in Agile environments, such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Proficient in German at C1 level or higher and understand Swiss German.

Responsibilities

• Analysing requirements and estimating development effort.
• Building, maintaining, and enhancing applications and interfaces.
• Performing unit and integration testing.
• Providing third-line support and maintaining technical documentation.
• Working in an Agile environment, following methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Working on-site in Zurich for up to 40% of the time.
