Zusammenfassung

Google Zurich is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering, Borg Node SRE to design, build, and run highly reliable services for Google Cloud. You’ll influence reliability, uptime, and performance at scale and will contribute to capacity planning and automation.

You will lead projects, mentor teammates, and drive incident response with blameless postmortems to improve velocity and resilience across distributed systems.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• 2 years of leading projects and providing technical leadership.

• Engage in and improve the full life-cycle of services from design to deployment and refinement.
• Support services before go-live via system design consulting and capacity planning.
• Maintain services post-launch by monitoring availability, latency, and health.
• Grow systems sustainably with automation and velocity improvements.
