Zusammenfassung

Google is seeking a Senior Staff Forward Deployed Engineer for Google Cloud in Zurich and nearby locations. You will bridge frontier AI products with production-grade deployments, embedding with customer accounts to deliver bespoke agentic solutions in customer environments.

Responsibilities include leading AI applications, integrating Google AI with customer infrastructure, and developing robust evaluation pipelines to ensure accuracy, safety, and low latency at scale.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience building and shipping production-grade AI-driven solutions using Python, TypeScript, or comparable language.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with business stakeholders and engineering teams to define AI and hardware infrastructure requirements.
• Experience architecting scalable AI systems on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Aufgaben

• Serve as the lead developer for AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows that drive ROI.
• Architect and code the connections between Google’s AI products and customer's live infrastructure, including APIs and data silos.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks meeting accuracy, safety, and latency requirements.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and friction points, turning them into reusable modules or feature requests for engineering teams.
• Mentor talent, co-build with customer teams, and influence cross-functional strategies to raise technical capabilities.
