Enova is seeking a Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer to join its international R&D team in Lausanne. You will lead the design and development of complex embedded hardware for cutting‑edge satellite communication systems, collaborating with Systems, FPGA, RF, Mechanical, Thermal, and Manufacturing Engineers to deliver high‑reliability products.

The role covers hardware architecture, analog/digital schematics, PCB stack‑ups, validation, and manufacturing support.

Formación

• Master's degree or engineering degree in electronics or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in hardware electronics design.
• Proven experience owning the complete development of complex electronic boards.
• Strong background in analog and digital electronics.
• Excellent knowledge of Altium Designer.
• Experience defining PCB stack-ups and routing rules.
• Solid experience in hardware validation, debugging, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Knowledge of switching power supplies (Buck, Flyback, LLC, etc.).
• Experience working with FPGA-based hardware integration (HDL development not required).
• Understanding of EMI/EMC constraints.
• Experience in Aerospace, Space, Defense, or other highly regulated industries is a strong advantage.
• RF experience is considered a plus but is not mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Define the hardware architecture of complex electronic boards.
• Design analog and digital schematics.
• Select electronic components based on system requirements.
• Define PCB stack‑ups and routing constraints.
• Supervise PCB layout activities in collaboration with layout engineers.
• Perform hardware bring‑up and board validation.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
• Participate in qualification and verification campaigns.
• Ensure successful product validation prior to production release.
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) best practices.
• Support products throughout the manufacturing and industrialization phases.
• Collaborate closely with Systems, FPGA, RF, Mechanical, Thermal, and Manufacturing teams.
• Participate in technical reviews and engineering decision‑making.
