Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Integration Consultant to support the integration of Coupa with SAP S/4HANA via SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

The assignment is planned with a 40–60% workload, making it particularly suitable for a senior consultant who can provide hands‑on technical expertise and take ownership of the integration activities without requiring a full‑time commitment.

We are looking for a hands‑on expert and problem solver who can quickly understand the existing environment, identify issues and implement pragmatic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the integration between Coupa and SAP S/4HANA via SAP BTP
• Take ownership of the technical integration activities
• Analyse existing systems, interfaces and integration requirements
• Configure, develop, test and support interfaces
• Troubleshoot integration issues and drive solutions
• Work with APIs, interfaces and integration architecture
• Create clear and maintainable technical documentation
• Transfer knowledge to the internal team
• Support the team in understanding and maintaining the integration
• Communicate progress, risks, dependencies and technical issues transparently
• Take ownership of agreed deliverables and ensure reliable delivery

Must-Have Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP BTP and SAP integration technologies
• Proven Coupa / SAP integration experience
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA integrations
• Experience integrating SAP with external SaaS or procurement platforms
• Strong understanding of APIs, interfaces and integration architecture
• Experience with Procurement and Source-to-Pay processes
• Experience delivering similar SAP BTP integration projects
• German-speaking
• Hands‑on, pragmatic and delivery-focused mindset
• Strong documentation and knowledge‑transfer skills
• High level of ownership and accountability
• Ability to work independently with limited onboarding
