Zusammenfassung

MACOM is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer in Zürich, Switzerland. This role requires specialized expertise in broadband high-speed optical/electrical interface products, with a focus on design, drafting, testing, and release of new devices and systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in Analog/RF IC design, and possess strong knowledge of simulation tools such as Cadence and ADS. Excellent collaboration skills are necessary to work with various engineering teams and support product transfers to production.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 4 years of Analog/RF IC design experience.

Aufgaben

• Develop, design, and support broadband high-speed optical/electrical interface products.
• Responsible for all design activities assigned by project leads.
• Provide clear status reports by analyzing simulation/test data.
• Enable Product Engineering group to transfer products to production.

Kenntnisse

Understanding of Analog/RF/mmWave circuits

Creative solution proposals at IP level

Fluency with electronics simulation tools

Electro-magnetic and/or Electro-optic simulations

Experience designing for high yield and low cost

Knowledge of industry standard test equipment

Design of evaluation boards

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
