Job summary

over99 Ltd. is redefining crypto gaming with a fast, secure platform and seeks a Senior Full Stack Games Engineer. You will design high-performance front-ends with PixiJS and React and scalable back-end services in Node.js, shaping game architecture and player experience.

You’ll drive performance improvements, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers in a remote, autonomous setting with a modern tech stack.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on game or interactive application development.
• Strong expertise in PixiJS and/or React for high-performance front-end experiences.
• Proficiency with Node.js and building scalable back-end services, including real-time systems.
• Experience with Postgres databases and client-server architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of web-based game experiences using PixiJS and React.
• Architect and implement scalable back-end services with Node.js for real-time gameplay.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate concepts into performant experiences.
• Optimize client-server communication (WebSockets, REST) for low-latency gameplay.
• Apply game development best practices to improve performance and maintainability.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment.
• Contribute to technical strategy and mentor junior engineers.
