Destinus is seeking an Engineering Quality Manager in Switzerland to own and develop the quality system across design and certification activities. You will lead audits, supplier qualification, and continuous improvement to ensure compliance with EN9100, EASA Part 21J, and related standards while accelerating the engineering program.

You'll collaborate with design and manufacturing, drive root-cause investigations, manage internal and external audits, and mentor teams to uphold rigorous quality

What You'll Do

• Be responsible for establishing, documenting, developing and managing the Quality System and for ensuring that it continues to comply with regulatory requirements and business needs.
• Support and guide our Engineering departments in the definition and implementation of efficient processes.
• Oversee design supplier qualification, categorization, and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Maintain and enhance the quality system, including document control, change management, and compliance monitoring
• Monitor compliance of internal processes with established industry standards and certification authority requirements (such as EN9100, EASA Part 21J and required military standards).
• Plan, conduct, and document internal and external audits in line with established processes.
• Track and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and external auditors (e.g., EASA, MoD), and cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.

Requirements

What You'll Need

• 7+ years in military or civil aviation or aerospace quality and compliance, or other highly quality driven industries such as automotive, energy with hands‑on experience in the aviation industry
• Experience with supplier quality management.
• Track record in leading quality investigations, undertaking root cause analysis, developing corrective action plans, and ensuring the effectiveness of actions undertaken.
• Audit training/certification or experience setting up ISO 9001, AS9100, AQAP2110 quality systems required.
• Familiarity with EASA Part 21 Subpart J and industry certification standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, STANAGs).
• Strong communication, analytical, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
