Zusammenfassung

Destinus is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to craft high-precision mechanical systems for aerospace and defense applications. You will transform concepts into manufacturable hardware, working with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet stringent performance and cost targets.

You bring 3+ years of aerospace or military design experience, strong GD&T capabilities, and a solid command of materials and DFx principles.

• 3+ years design experience within Aerospace or Military industry.
• Strong performance, manufacturability and cost.

Aufgaben

• Proficiency in CAD design (Part modeling, assemblies, drafting, and drawing creation) using Siemens NX or similar.
• Apply mechanical design principles and GD&T to develop robust, manufacturable components.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet performance and cost targets.
• Generate technical documentation and maintain design records.
• Balance multiple projects with effective time management and clear communication.

What You´ll Do

• Proficiency in CAD design (Part modeling, assemblies, drafting, and drawing creation) - Siemens NX ideally or similar
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles
• Familiarity with PLM systems (TeamCenter)
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Competent in the generation of technical documentation
