Job summary

Belimo in Switzerland seeks a seasoned Project Leader to drive complex, cross‑functional development programs for industrial mechatronic products. You will ensure structured execution, governance, risk management, and fact‑based leadership decisions while fostering collaboration across Engineering, Production, Quality and other domains.

You will coordinate multi‑workstream efforts, coach teams, maintain high‑quality data, and report readiness and progress.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field
• Several years of experience leading interdisciplinary engineering projects
• Strong methodological expertise in project management, PM certification is a plus
• High proficiency with PM tools (Jira, Sciforma, Planview) and governance
• Proven ability coordinating cross‑functional teams across Development, Production, Quality
• Strong business sense for trade‑offs and impact assessments
• Excellent communication, English fluency; German is a plus with strong self‑organization

Responsibilities

• Plan, steer and monitor complex multi‑workstream projects, including scope, schedule, budget, resources and deliverables
• Coordinate cross‑functional dependencies and ensure collaboration between Engineering, Production, Quality and other domains
• Ensure governance, processes, methods and deliverables; coach project leads and teams
• Maintain complete project data (planning, costs, resources) and provide transparent reporting on status, readiness, gaps
• Lead risk, issue and change management including identification, assessment, mitigation and escalation
• Prepare decision papers, scenarios and recommendations for leadership based on status and risks
• Drive stakeholder communication, alignment and conflict resolution across departments and projects
• Lead continuous improvement of execution methods, tools and collaboration through lessons learned
