Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's Cilag AG in Schaffhausen is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead aseptic fill finish projects, design, install and qualify production equipment, infrastructure and utilities.

You will manage engineering projects end-to-end, ensure EHS compliance, coordinate with QA, business units and global teams, and drive funding through business cases. The role requires German and English fluency, with occasional regional travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in Project Engineering in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
• Excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to influence others and move toward a common goal.
• Familiarity with project management approaches and design thinking.
• Self-driven, well-organized and able to set own targets and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in German and English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects in aseptic fill finish and contribute to design, installation and qualification of production equipment, infrastructure and utilities.
• Accountable for project management and execution to high standards, on time and on budget.
• Ensure safe execution in compliance with EHS guidelines and regulatory requirements (cGMP).
• Collaborate with stakeholders on site (QA, EHS&S, sustainability) and with global teams.
• Initiate business cases to support project funding approval processes.
