Adaptyv, Lausanne, Switzerland, is seeking a senior scientist to own assay quality, data QC and production troubleshooting across the full experimental pipeline. You will run experiments and also uplift the team by developing robust production-ready methods.

You will bridge biology, automation and QC, document SOPs, mentor junior staff, and ensure scalable, high-throughput workflows while maintaining data integrity in a fast-moving biotech startup.

Qualificações

• PhD in protein biochemistry, biophysics, or structural biology, plus 3–5 years in a production or development role at CRO/foundry/high-throughput lab.
• Hands-on experience with protein expression (E. coli, mammalian, cell-free) and purification (IMAC, SEC).
• Experience with high-throughput workflows and 96-well plates.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot production failures across the entire pipeline and identify root causes.
• Develop and document SOPs for new assays to be production-ready and reproducible.
• Mentor a growing production team and promote a culture of early problem reporting.
• Collaborate with researchers, technicians, and automation engineers on protocol optimization and LabOS integration.
• Balance throughput with quality to scale assays without sacrificing data quality.
