Kimchi, a Switzerland-based partner, seeks a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end design for CLI, desktop apps, and developer tooling. You will lead independent user research, prototype with AI-assisted workflows, and shape product strategy while navigating technical constraints.

Collaboration with engineers and other designers is essential in a remote-first, international setup. You will work on AI-powered development workflows, influencing how technical teams build, manage, and scale

Qualifikationen

• Portfolio or case studies focused on developer tools, AI/LLM products, or technical and data-heavy SaaS platforms.
• Own user research end-to-end and use findings to influence product direction.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development workflows and willingness to work directly with code and product.
• Able to defend design decisions in ambiguous environments without predefined processes.
• Experience designing for technical users; discuss APIs, architecture, and trade-offs with engineers.
• Strong asynchronous communication with concise documentation.
• Experience across full product design lifecycle from research to delivery.
• Nice to have CLI/terminal UI experience or executive-facing presentations.
• Curiosity, ownership, and ability to work hands-on in a fast-moving product.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end product problems across CLI, desktop apps, inference and spend consoles, and developer tooling.
• Lead user research studies, synthesize findings, and translate insights into recommendations.
• Prototype directly in code using AI-assisted development workflows to test ideas.
• Contribute a clear point of view to product strategy with supporting data.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to balance UX, architecture, and business goals.
• Participate in cross-team design reviews to maintain quality and alignment.
• Monitor design debt and advocate for usability improvements.
• Communicate design decisions and research findings across a distributed org.
