Job summary

Avanda Group AG is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer / Palantir Architect for our global end client in Zurich. You will design and implement Palantir Foundry solutions integrated with Microsoft Azure, building scalable data platforms that convert complex data into actionable insights.

You will lead architecture decisions, develop data models and pipelines, and collaborate with cloud, security and business teams to deliver end-to-end data capabilities in a fast-paced, long-term

Qualifications

• Hands-on Palantir Foundry implementation and architecture.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data platforms.
• Advanced SQL and Python development skills.
• Solid knowledge of data engineering, data modelling, and pipeline orchestration.
• Experience with cloud security, data governance, and enterprise system integration.
• Hands-on mindset and ability to own technical delivery end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Palantir Foundry solutions integrated with Microsoft Azure.
• Build and optimise data pipelines, transformations, and enterprise data models.
• Develop Palantir Ontologies, connecting business data, relationships, and operational workflows.
• Design secure data integrations, ensuring scalability, performance, and data quality.
• Lead technical architecture decisions and drive implementation from design through production.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, cloud engineers, and security teams.
