Job summary

Avanda Group in Zurich is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Palantir Architect to design and implement enterprise data solutions using Palantir Foundry and Microsoft Azure. You will build scalable data platforms and pipelines to convert complex data into actionable insights.

You will own end-to-end delivery, collaborate with cloud, security, and business teams, and shape data models, ontologies, and governance to ensure performance and security.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Palantir Foundry solutions and architectures.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data platforms.
• Advanced SQL and Python development skills.
• Solid knowledge of data engineering, data modelling, and pipeline orchestration.
• Experience with cloud security, data governance, and enterprise system integration.
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to own technical delivery end to end.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Palantir Foundry solutions integrated with Microsoft Azure.
• Build and optimise data pipelines, transformations, and enterprise data models.
• Develop Palantir Ontologies, connecting business data, relationships, and workflows.
• Design secure data integrations ensuring scalability, performance and data quality.
• Lead technical architecture decisions and drive implementation from design through production.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, cloud engineers, and security teams.
