Job summary

IBM Suisse SA in Geneva region seeks a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to lead database solutions for critical banking systems. You will design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL components, integrate data across systems, and support deployments in a regulated financial environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced delivery center, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and compliant processes while leveraging Unix scripting and SQL expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Extensive Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Unix scripting.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, SSAS and/or Sybase IQ.
• Deployment and production support experience.
• Experience with integration and user testing.
• Agile project experience.
• Banking domain experience.
• Strong French and English communication skills.
• Swiss or EU nationality, or a valid Swiss work permit.

Responsibilities

• Develop Oracle PL/SQL procedures and packages.
• Design database solutions and batch-processing processes.
• Integrate data from multiple systems and ensure consistent data delivery.
• Develop Unix scripts and production deployment scripts.
• Support integration, system and user acceptance testing.
• Investigate and resolve database and performance issues.
• Provide post-go-live support and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile project and technical sessions.
