Job summary

Ligentec is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead Swiss FAB operations and oversee production scheduling, vendor relationships, and site logistics. The role demands a strong background in silicon photonics, foundry processes, and a track record of improving OTD and cost efficiency.

Based in Switzerland, you will manage cross-functional teams across front end and back end operations, drive strategic procurement, and partner with FAB suppliers to optimize capacity while maintaining

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the semiconductor industry.
• Extensive foundry knowledge across materials and production processes.
• Proven track record in leading managers and matrix organizations.
• Strong vendor management and contract experience.
• Excellent negotiation skills to drive cost savings.
• Experience in multinational, multi-site environments.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Swiss fabrication operations and production teams.
• Manage production scheduling, cycle time reduction, and tool efficiency.
• Ensure on-time delivery and resolve bottlenecks.
• Strengthen FAB partner relationships for capacity and cost savings.
• Direct Swiss facilities operations and site logistics.
• Lead strategic procurement and vendor selection.
