Job summary

Skillfinder International is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager for a leading international bank in Switzerland, based in Geneva. You will maintain and enhance the operational risk management framework in line with FINMA requirements and review RCSA with stakeholders across the three lines of defence.

Requirements include a degree in Finance or Economics, 5+ years in audit or operational risk in a Swiss banking environment, strong FINMA knowledge, excellent communication,

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Audit or Operational Risk within a Swiss banking environment.
• Strong understanding of FINMA regulations and operational risk frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Avaloq experience is an advantage.
• Fluent English and very good French required; German is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the operational risk management framework in line with FINMA requirements.
• Review and challenge Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the three lines of defence.
• Perform control testing and contribute to operational risk reviews.
• Support regulatory compliance and risk management initiatives.
