Michael Bailey Associates is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a private cloud platform team. You will design, engineer and continuously develop complex enterprise and data centre networks, blending traditional networking with modern infrastructure.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Development and Operations to implement network architecture and automation using IaC, Ansible, Python and Kubernetes, ensuring security and performance.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer with architecture responsibility or Network Architect in enterprise/data centre environments.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking including routing, switching, QoS, BGP and OSPF.
• Experience with Linux in infrastructure environments and network automation using IaC.

• Design, engineer and continuously develop network architectures and infrastructure for enterprise and data centre environments.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Development and Operations to deliver project and platform objectives.
• Take architectural responsibility for complex network solutions and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Design and implement network segmentation and security concepts.
• Ensure quality, stability, performance, availability and security of network services.
• Automate network and infrastructure services using IaC and configuration management.
• Develop and maintain network automation using Ansible, Python, Bash and Git.
• Operate, troubleshoot and continuously improve complex enterprise and data centre networks.
• Work with virtualization and Kubernetes environments, including Cilium, and evaluate new technologies for the private cloud platform.
