Luxoft in Switzerland seeks an experienced QA Engineer focused on mobile applications to support an on-going modernization and testing effort for a US-based eCommerce platform.

You will design and execute manual testing across native, hybrid, and mobile web apps on iOS and Android, build test strategies, and work with real devices, emulators, and cloud device farms. Additionally, API testing, AI-assisted testing tools, and collaboration with product teams ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years working as a QA Engineer with a mobile focus.
• Hands-on testing of native, hybrid, and mobile web apps on iOS/Android.
• Strong test design skills: equivalence, boundary values, decision tables.
• Ability to define test strategy, scope, and device/OS coverage from scratch.
• Mobile-specific testing: interruptions, network conditions, permissions, lifecycle.
• Experience with real devices, emulators, and cloud device farms.
• SOAP/REST API testing with Postman and traffic inspection.
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail/Zephyr/Xray for defect tracking.
• AI-driven testing tools for test case generation and analysis.
• Knowledge of App Store / Google Play release requirements.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with teams and client to find best solutions.
• Onboard to Customer's processes, domain, and device landscape QA activities.
• Test design, creation and maintenance of test cases, checklists, and regression suites.
• Manual functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing for iOS and Android.
• Define and maintain device/OS coverage matrix; test on real devices and cloud farms.
• Mobile-specific verification: interruptions, network conditions, permissions, lifecycle.
• API testing (SOAP/REST) and traffic inspection to isolate defects.
• Release candidate verification and App Store / Google Play submission checks.
• Apply AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate design, coverage, and defect analysis.
• Report and track issues with reproducible steps, logs, and evidence.
• Participate in requirements review, refinement, and estimation; raise risks early.
• Contribute to QA reporting – test progress, coverage, and quality metrics.
